Knock knock. Who's there? Orange. Orange-Who? Oranges and Broccoli fight colon cancer, that's who!
A recent European Study followed more than 400,000 people over nearly nine years and found that those who ate the most fruits and vegetables had a 14 percent reduction in the risk of colorectal cancer and a 24 percent reduction in the risk of colon cancer. Former smokers enjoyed this benefit too, but current smokers... not so much.
So drop the cancer sticks and pick up fruit and veggie sticks, coins, triangles and strips, five servings or more for optimal health.
